GodBlogCon is the only Christian conference in the nation which brings together GodBloggers for the purpose of creating community amidst the GodBloggers and helping GodBloggers, both beginning and advanced, become better contributors in the new media. Founded in 2005, the first GodBlogCon received media attention from over 180 news outlets worldwide. Today, GodBlogCon continues its growth by joining with the BlogWorld and New Media Expo as the sole representation of the GodBlogging Community at what is the premier New Media trade-show in the nation.
GodBlogCon recognizes the dramatic shift in media occurring as a result of New Media technology and the promise that it offers to Christians for cultural engagement and impact. It is the vision of GodBlogCon to equip and encourage GodBloggers as they engage culture by providing sessions relevant to both site content and technology. Furthermore, GodBlogCon recognizes the importance of community interaction in growing and maintaining a healthy body of individuals. Therefore, GodBlogCon seeks to continue to help foster real-life interaction between those within the GodBlogging community through these conferences.
Today, GodBlogCon continues to do these things and is proud to carry on the vision and purpose of helping Christians to engage the culture well through New Media.
